Web Contractor, Above Photography; Coolum Beach, QLD, AU — 2006-2011

Ruby on Rails architecture has processed 90,000 photographs to date, by resizing and watermarking thumbnails, extracting JPEG EXIF data, and categorizing into a MongoDB document store. Integrated database with Google Fusion Tables API to visualize photograph locations on a custom Google Map. Search Engine Optimization lead to 600 unique visitors per day for the last four years. Two international trips to Above Photography’s offices, in 2009 and 2010, helped the company focus all its energy towards capturing photographs and customer service.
